Youth Art Contest

Celebrate San Marcos Youth Art Contest

Who: Children ages 5-18
Theme: anything that inspires you about San Marcos!
Paper Size Limit: 8.5" x 11"
Accepted Mediums: All traditional mediums (crayons, markers, paint, etc.), keeping in mind that this artwork will hopefully become a sticker!  
Submission Deadline: April 18th

Submission Details:
Parents or guardians must personally deliver their child’s artwork to The San Market (114 E San Antonio Street, San Marcos) by April 18th. A signed release form will be required for the artwork to be considered, granting permission for the artwork to be displayed at The San Market during Celebrate San Marcos, April 24 - 26.  The artists' name will not be displayed unless parental permission is given.  The artwork can be picked up at the San Market any time after April 26th.

Winners & Prizes:
Winners will be selected by The San Market team. At least four winners will be selected, each receiving a $25 gift card. Additionally, their artwork will be transformed into stickers the family to keep and share.

Additional Opportunities:
Following the contest, there may be opportunities for selected artwork to be featured on products for sale, in cooperation and with the permission of the artist and their parents.
