Come swim with mermaids Marina and Sprite as they tumble over the falls and discover many new things they don't recognize in the river. Two salamander friends and Marcos, the turtle, explain their new surroundings of some surprising objects that should not be there. Mermaids are the guardians of the river who will help us remember good river stewardship!

Written by San Marcos authors Fraye Stokes & Mary McBeth, and illustrated by Jill Pankey.  A portion of the proceeds of the sale of every book goes to the Mermaid Society in support of river guardianship.
