The River Cowboys

A fun, fictional story inspired by a real team and a real canoe race! A young boy listens to his Grandpa's tales of the River Cowboys racing the 260 mile long Texas Water Safari. Told with a playful, silly rhyme, the story brings the River Cowboys' adventure to life as they paddle through winding rivers, face big challenges, and work as a team to finish the world's toughest canoe race. Along the way, young readers learn about the excitement of the Texas Water Safari, while discovering the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and grit-even when the journey gets tough.
